An inspiring journey following Jada, a successful Black journalist who loses everything overnight and forms a support group with four women each confronting a different form of abuse as they fight to reclaim their lives and rebuild their identities after trauma.

Synopsis

The series unfolds the story of Jada, a 50 year old award winning Black journalist whose life collapses in a single night after betrayal and the abrupt loss of all her possessions. Forced to confront the fractures of her past, Jada embarks on a powerful healing process.

Through her search for meaning and recovery, she creates a support group that brings together four women, each facing a different type of abuse emotional, physical, psychological, digital, and systemic. As they share their stories, they discover that healing is not linear, but possible through connection, courage, and the reclamation of their voices.

A raw, intimate, and deeply human fiction series, If this is not Love explores trauma, sisterhood, and the transformative strength of women who refuse to be defined by the violence they endured.
